After several years of strugle in the music industry Goldspot reached the state of recognition and popularity. They started off as being an underground rock band in Los Angeles and loads of shows later started their own independent record label and sold more than 10,000 copies in the U.S.A. The album created a lot of popularity for the band and hence they got a major record deal from Mercury Records in U.K.
