John Mayer John Clayton Mayer is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter. His first two studio albums, “Room for Squares” and “Heavier Things”, were hugely successful, achieving multi-platinum status. In 2003, he won a Best Male Pop Vocal Performance Grammy for "Your Body Is a Wonderland". In 2005 Mayer moved towards the blues genre by collaborating with artists such as Buddy Guy, B.B.
